    About Us

Welcome to the Jonathan Clark House Museum located in Mequon on the corner of Bonniwell and Cedarburg Roads. The Friends of Jonathan Clark House are creating a historic house museum along with a history library and meeting venue.

The beautiful, two-story, Greek Revival home was built in 1848, the year of Wisconsin's statehood. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Mequon Landmark. The museum features mid-19th century period furnishings and the grounds are being developed as an interpretation of the same period.

In partnership with area historical and educational groups the museum will teach Mequon and Thiensville history of early settlers and settlements.
The house and grounds will be made available to the community for small venue events.
