Mequon-Thiensville Community Promenade
Our February Mequon-Thiensville Government Relations will feature Sandy Custer and Connie Pukaite who are helping lead the planning and fundraising efforts for the Mequon-Thiensville Community Promenade on the northeast corner of Cedarburg and Mequon Road. The design serves as identification of a point of arrival into a special and distinct neighborhood that is the heart of two communities. The promenade enhances the entry point to the Town Center and Historic Main Street and is a public feature meant to:
- Announce arrival at a special place
- Activate the riverfront
- Serve as a public amenity
- Promote history and art of the community
- Celebrate the vitality and new growth at the heart of the communitiesYou’re invited to learn more about the Mequon-Thiensville Community Promenade design, planning and fundraising.
