Shopping is more fun than chore for residents of Mequon-Thiensville. In addition to the quaint downtown business district of Thiensville, numerous shopping opportunities are found in Mequon.

Shopping centers abound in the area that include many of the best-known names in retailing.

The Pavilions at Mequon, located just off of I43 at Mequon and Port Washington Roads contains 50+ stores, boutiques and specialty shops. East Towne Square, another shopping complex is located just across Port Washington Rd. Mequon Court II is also located in that area at Mequon and Port Washington Roads.

The Riversite Shopping Center, which is located further west at Mequon and Cedarburg Roads, is home to The Riversite Restaurant and several retail and service shops. Just across the street is the River Center, home of the Piggly Wiggly and a selection of restaurants and retail businesses.

Thiensville offers numerous retail, service and convenience shops along Main Street and Green Bay Road, including Suburban Motors, one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in Southeastern Wisconsin; and numerous specialty shops.

Other area shopping attractions include a Farmer's Market, held every Tuesday in downtown Thiensville from June through October. Area farmers sell fresh produce, flowers and plants from the corner of Main St. & Freistadt Rd.

Shop Local

The Mequon-Theinsville Chamber of Commerce supports many slocal small businesses and promotes "Shop Local" initiatives. Community Gift Cetificates are available for purchase at the chamber office.
